VIAA has teamed up New Level Partners to offer an interactive, cost-effective, on-demand training program.  Audiovisual exercises and knowledge checks provide an interactive learning experience giving the new hire a jump-start in the industry.

With a variety of programs to choose from, you should have no problem finding a course to meeting your new hiring needs. On average each course within a curriculum is 30-40 minuties in length.  Once purchased, each package provides access to the curriculum for four months.

Preparing for State Licensure

Passing the state licensing exam is a significant milestone, and achieving success requires education, preparation, and focus. To support your journey, we are excited to offer a series of online Pre-Licensing Courses in 2025. These courses are designed to provide the knowledge and tools you need to confidently prepare for the exam.

Pre-Licensing Class Details:

• Dates: Monday, March 10 – Friday, March 14
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
• Format: Virtual, half-day sessions over one week

Registering for Your Exam
When you’re ready to take the state licensing exam, you’ll need to register through Prometric, the official testing provider. Follow these steps:

1. Visit Prometric’s Vermont Insurance page.
2. Create an account if you don’t already have one.
3. Purchase the exam and register for 14-31 Producer's Property & Casualty.

Annual Property & Casualty Exam Prep School

VIAA offers a three day Pre-Licensing School for the Property & Casualty Producer License Exam. It is offered annually and provides a hands on review of what's most important in the exam. We are glad to hold the pre-licensing school on other dates throughout the year upon request. A minimum of ten students is required to hold the course.
